This is a WiFi streaming player that is compatible with AirPlay. To use this, you can either:
Connect directly to it as a WiFi network using your computer or phone. For this, you can add password/encryption. You will see this as an AirPlay device.
Set it up by selecting it as a WiFi network and then giving it login credentials for your home network. When the unit connects, switch your phone/computer back to your regular network, and the Sabrent will then show up as an AirPlay device.
Use it as a WiFi bridge (it logs into your home internet, and you connect to it). This is an off-label use that I discovered by accident.
It is powered by USB (you plug it into an open USB port or USB power adapter, not included) and connects to your stereo equipment via 1/8” plug. I am including a 1/8 to Stereo RCA plug to get you started.
