One MILK SHARK JAW per bid.
PLEASE READ THIS FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES:
I will combine shipping where possible (if items can fit in the same box and ship together safely).  A 5# mineral specimen and a glass display will not usually ship together safely.  If you want to get a combined shipment (where possible) then
    DO NOT PAY
until I invoice you.  Just "request total from seller" when finished shopping.  I will pack the items together where possible, get the adjusted cost, and invoice you.
IF YOU PAY FIRST IT IS TOO LATE TO UNDO IT.
I ship in BOXES for better protection - not envelopes or padded mailers.  If you pay for FIRST CLASS or PRIORITY MAIL then you will get it that way, not by Media Mail or Parcel Post or other slow shipping.  Tracking numbers are linked to your "my eBay" and "Purchases" pages as soon as I run the label.
I want you to be happy with your purchase!  If you have ANY problems with an item just contact me ("ask seller a question" link) and I will do what it takes to resolve the issue!
    ITEM  DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for one (1) set of Milk Shark jaws similar to the one pictured.
I HAVE MORE THAN ONE OF THESE.  THESE JAWS ARE PROPERLY IDENTIFIED (These are NOT spot-tails or another similar, very common species).  THESE ARE MILK SHARK.
This is a rare offering - Milk Shark (Rhizoprionodon acutus) - from the Philippines.
These jaws are right around 4.5" across the widest, outside spread (give or take 1/8 inch).
Shark Nerd Factoid: Milk Sharks are called such because it is believed in some countries that eating them promotes lactation for nursing mothers.
    Nice, uncommon jaws.
These jaws are recycled from the fishing industry.  The sharks were caught for food, not their jaws, and these are salvaged for collectors and education.
These commercial jaws usually have some damaged teeth here and there - there's a LOT of teeth in these jaws and shark jaws are almost never "pristine".  The teeth are their weapons, and they often break or get pulled loose - that's why new teeth constantly move forward from the rows behind to replace them.
    Thanks for looking.
Specimens are not protected or endangered species.
