    Description

Up for auction is a MILITARY HISTORY magazine from June 1987.  Each Military History magazine is a vintage collections of articles that provide a scholarly yet popular approach to the events and backgrounds of fascinating aspects of history. It was purchased new by me, gently read and carefully stored between readings.
The issue presented here is especially noted for its article on the French Foreign Legion at Camerone. Note the photo of its Table of Contents for other topics in the issue.
The editor of the issue of Military History is C. Brian Kelly. Kelly is a prize-winning journalist and a co-founder of Montpelier Publishing. He is a columnist and editor emeritus for Military History magazine. He is also a lecturer in newswriting at the University of Virginia. Kelly’s articles have appeared in Reader’s Digest, Friends, Yankee, Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone, and other magazines. He is the author of several books on American history.
The magazine measures about 6 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Each of the magazine's front and back covers and contents are tight, in very nice condition, with no internal markings. In addition to the outstanding text, there are plenty of illustrations (both color and black and white) . . . even the advertising is instructive to read!
