EARLY 20TH CENTURY LARGE CERAMIC ROOSTER WATER JUG BY F. FERREIRA & CIA

Available for this listing is a rare early 20
th
century find from
Ceramic Paulista, Adelino Ferreira & Brother, then F. Ferreira & Cia
of
Agua Branca. They created this wonderful, large 11½” tall, 8” wide rooster water jug.
It is in very good condition with age wear and flakes on the paint on edges, normal stoneware aging but no cracks or hairlines. Please see the many images for more visual details.
F. Ferreira & Cia was a
crockery factory of great prominence in the Capital founded in 1893 by Portuguese immigrant Joaquim Ferreira, father and Adelino Francisco.
