    Description

1784 PR Bolivia 2 Reale Spanish Colony Milled Bust Charles III Pillar Silver
2 Reale, scarce in any condition with unknown mintage's. Mostly found in very bad conditions.
This is an example of a milled bust type struck 1791-1808 at Potosi, Bolivia.
    Specification: 13.54 g, .896 fine silver,
    Bust King Charles III.
Like the milled pillar dollar, bust reales circulated throughout the new worlds, even serving as legal
currency in the United States until 1857.
These colonial period coins circulated freely in the many
New World colonies of Spain and many were lost in shipwrecks. Thank you for looking.
